My Biography

Royal Canadian Mounted Police

In 1987 I joined the RCMP and was posted to Stephenville Nfld after training. I did general duty policing in Stephenville, Piccadilly and Port aux Basques before being transferred back to Ontario. In Ontario I was an Intelligence Officer and for a short period I was a Recruiter for the RCMP. I retired in May of this year with the rank of Corporal. 

Town of Fort Erie Community Gaming and Development Corporation

 For the last 12 years I have served on the CGDC. I was appointed by the Fort Erie Town Councils and continue to serve the people of Fort Erie .

Town of Fort Erie Property Standards Committee

 From 2010 to 2014 I was appointed to the Property Standards Committee 

Royal Canadian Legion Branch #71

 I am a member of the Fort Erie RCL Branch #71. This year I am the Youth Education Co-Chair. 

Knights of Columbus

During my tenure with the Knights of Columbus I have held many executive positions including Deputy Grand Knight. I continue to hold an executive position in the Fort Erie Knights of Columbus Council #3320. From organizing and cooking at  BBQs to preparing breakfasts I continue to serve my community.

Hockey Coach

While in Stephenville and Port aux Basques I coached Minor Hockey at the house league and travel team level. Upon my return to Fort Erie I had the honor of coaching a great group of young men on the Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School boys hockey team. 

Brock University - Head Resident

 Attended Brock University and graduated  with a B.A. While at Brock I was chosen by the Residence Administration to be the Head Resident at Decew Residences. I supervised 10 Dons who each looked after a 30 unit complex. I reported to the Director of Housing.  

Big Brother

 I was privileged to belong to the Big Brother / Big Sister program. I was paired up with a great young fellow . It is an awesome program! 

President of the Student Administrative Council

  While at Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School I was elected as President of the Student Council . 

Columbian Squires Chief Squire

 The Columbian Squires is a youth group  under the guidance of the Knights of Columbus. 

Awards

Order of Saint John Priory Award - I was the recipient of this award for my contributions to the St John Ambulance program while in Newfoundland.

Optimist International Law Enforcement Award - I was the recipient of this award for my services to law enforcement. 

RCMP Long Service Medal and Silver Clasp - I was the recipient of this award for my honorable service in the RCMP.
